The AusPet Industry Expo is making its return this year, with the event to be held from 17-18 September at Essendon Fields, Melbourne.

A collaboration between the Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA) and IndePet, the tradeshow has already secured over 50 exhibitors and will feature various networking and educational opportunities.

Anthony Ramsey, CEO of the PIAA, thanked all the exhibitors for backing the return of this event.

“This is Australia’s only businesses to business, pet trade event, and provides the perfect environment for exhibitors to properly network and promote their business and brands to hundreds of independent retailers, representing pet, aquarium, boarding and grooming sectors.”

In addition to the much-anticipated expo, there will also be ample opportunity to connect with old and new acquaintances, with networking drinks and the PIAA industry achievement awards evening to be held at the culmination of the first day.

“The comradery and social aspects of the event is also critically important to bring all of the Australian pet industry together again in one place.”

Todd Clarkson, CEO of IndePet, explained that these types of events help to strengthen the industry and build the networks for future growth.

“At IndePet we are focused on ensuring the longevity and prosperity of independent pet stores and we are proud to support events like this to achieve that goal.”

Tickets to the AusPet Industry Expo are free, but attendees must register here.

The AusPet Industry Expo will be held at Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields – Australian Events Centre, 1 Larkin Blvd, Essendon Fields, Victoria.
