IndePet is hosting an International Women’s Day event on Wednesday 6 March at Captain Melville in Melbourne.
The event will celebrate and recognise the achievements and innovations that the incredible women in the pet industry have made. It will feature an impressive panel of speakers, as well as keynote speaker Dr Katrina Warren.
“This International Women’s Day event is an opportunity to highlight the impact women have in every aspect of the pet world, including making our pets’ lives richer and more fulfilling,” said Dr Warren.
Attendees will hear from Dr Warren and a panel including Julie Dillon (Masterpet CEO), Chelsea Parkinson (Optimo CEO), Kylie Kane (100% Pets Owner), Diana Scott (Founder Frontier Pets), and Jessica Gibbons (La Doggie Vita Owner), while enjoying an afternoon of canapes, drinks, and networking.
Krysten Arnold, Marketing Manager at IndePet, said she has worked in the pet industry for over seven years and has had the opportunity to work with some incredible and inspiring women during that time.
“We have always had an internal celebration of our achievements around International Women’s Day, however I’m excited to be a part of an event that brings us all together to recognise women’s achievements within the industry. It’s definitely overdue.”
Tia Wishart, Business Development Manager at IndePet, said she is really excited to be a part of sharing and celebrating the success of women in the pet industry as part of this event.
“As you can see from the strength of the panel, our industry is full of trailblazing women. This is a great opportunity to recognize the contribution of all women to our industry and a unique opportunity to get to meet and network with each other.”
The event kicks off at 2pm on Wednesday, March 2024 at Captain Melville in Melbourne. Tickets are available here.
