“I’m excited to work with Dr Wilde and the rest of my Executive Team to realise Lort Smith’s vision for every pet to receive the care they deserve and that the joy of animal companionship should be accessible to all.”
Dr Wilde said she was inspired by the organisation’s growth and commitment to animal welfare.
“I am inspired by how the organisation continues to evolve, opening purpose-built centres, strengthening community programs, and adapting to new challenges while remaining anchored in its mission.”
In her new role, Dr Wilde plans to expand access to veterinary care and strengthen community outreach programs, including Pet Therapy and Emergency Boarding.
“A great team is one where people feel connected, supported, and inspired by a shared purpose,” she said. “At Lort Smith, every staff member, volunteer, partner, and pet carer is united by love for animals and community.”
