Royal Canin has been the official provider of nutrition for every puppy and dog in the Seeing Eye Dogs training and breeding program since 2006.

In the past year alone, Royal Canin fuelled 330 dogs and pups across the program ensuring the dogs stay healthy and happy, allowing them to continue their important work.

Kelly Quirke, Interim General Manager Royal Canin Australia and New Zealand, said they believe that pets make our lives better which is why they want to make a better world for them.

“We are extremely proud to partner with Vision Australia Seeing Eyes Dogs and provide tailored nutrition for these incredible dogs that truly transform people’s lives.”

Seeing Eye Dogs are currently looking for volunteers to help guide puppies along the path of becoming highly trained working dogs.

Applications are open to all, from those living in apartments to those on an acreage, to those working or studying to those retired, Seeing Eye Dogs is encouraging all to apply.

Jack Lord, puppy development trainer at Australia Seeing Eye Dogs, said as a puppy career you’re not only giving a puppy a loving home, you’re helping the blind and low vision community by raising a future essential Seeing Eye Dog to aid their independence.

Vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs cover the costs of raising a pup, whilst puppy development trainers meet each volunteer carer to help teach basic puppy skills, volunteers simply offer their home and heart.
