TasFoods has signed a sales and distribution agreement with Natures Best, a division of Pet Solutions International, to expand the reach of its Isle and Sky freeze-dried chicken pet treats.
The three-year agreement, set to begin in the second quarter of 2025, will see Natures Best distribute TasFoods’ pet treat range through its established retail network. The deal is part of TasFoods’ “Path Forward” strategy to accelerate growth in the pet food sector.
Joshua Fletcher, CEO of TasFoods, described the partnership as a major step for the company.
“This is a significant step in the strategic direction for our company. To be able to create a partnership with one of Australia’s largest pet food, pet treats and pet accessories businesses, that has over 30 years’ experience in the pet industry, allows accelerated growth in this segment for our company.”
As part of the agreement, Natures Best will also source ingredients from TasFoods’ product waste stream to produce Isle and Sky treats, along with other brands in its portfolio.
Natures Best, a Tasmanian-based pet food company, has been in operation for more than three decades. It supplies a variety of pet products across major Australian retail chains.
TasFoods, headquartered in Launceston, is focused on expanding its presence in the pet food market through strategic partnerships and product development initiatives.
