The IndePet conference in Rotorua is just two weeks away, and the team is gearing up for a big event with shareholders, suppliers, and industry partners.

Taking place on 19-23 May 2024, the theme for this year’s conference is ‘Momentum’ promises to be a big one with over 100 attendees making the trip to Rotorua to learn and be inspired over three days of conference sessions, networking, and learning what IndePet has to offer in the coming year.

Todd Clarkson, CEO of IndePet, said this year’s conference is all about Momentum – how to build it and how to maintain it in an everchanging industry.

“We have a great three days ahead with a conference program of diverse and informative conference sessions, a trade hall of our key suppliers offering great deals and a fun social program full of great networking opportunities.”

A Q&A panel moderated by Clarkson, featuring suppliers, store owners, and manufacturers offering their perspectives on the industry is amongst the highlights. The panel will field questions on the future of independent pet retail over the next five years and how IndePet can capitalise on this.

“We are looking forward to introducing this session and getting different points of view and valuable insights,” said Clarkson.

There will also be the opportunity to forge closer relationships with suppliers through breakout sessions, providing intimate sessions for shareholders and key store members with suppliers.

Outside of business, delegates can expect lots of fun to be had with exciting social activities like canopy tours, geothermal tours, hot springs, and mountain bike hikes. Nighttime is a different experience every night, including culture, dinner under the stars, and entertainment.
