The winners of the 2025 Pet Vision Awards and the inaugural NEXT Award for Pet Innovators were announced recently at Zoomark in Bologna.

The Pet Vision Awards highlighted four standout products across key industry trends, chosen by international pet industry journalists.

VisioFocus Animal by Tecnimed S.r.l. won in the Value for Money category. The product is a contactless infrared thermometer that measures a pet’s temperature directly from the eye.

In the Green Transition category, Viozois Sa was recognised for its Lunch Boxes for Dogs & Cats – a recyclable, composite-free packaging that balances sustainability and ease of use.

The Brain & Health category was won by Natsbi Steamed Dog from Gosbi Pet Food. The product features steamed dog food made from 85–90 per cent meat or fish, preserving nutrients without the need for refrigeration.

For Mini Mania, a category focusing on small pets, Mantovani Pet Diffusion Srl was awarded for its Linea Fieni range – sun-dried hay and plant-based snacks supporting nutrition and behavioural stimulation in rodents.

Zoomark also introduced the NEXT Award for Pet Innovators this year, aimed at start-ups driving change in the sector. Carepet by Domethics claimed the prize for its smart pet bed that monitors pets’ vital signs and environmental conditions via an app.

The judging panel included Annamaria Tartaglia, CEO of TheBrandSitter, Oliver Mengedoth, Chief Editor of Pet Worldwide, and Matteo Di Giammarco from Google.

The awards highlight emerging trends and technological advancements in pet care, with Zoomark reaffirming its focus on innovation across the industry.
