Habitat has partnered with PetWell to host Raw Feeding Workshops, aimed at helping pet owners build balanced diets for dogs and cats.

The first session, held at Habitat Chirnside Park, included customised bowls, fresh food samples and nutrition education. Following positive feedback, more workshops will be held at Habitat Altona on Saturday 6 September and Habitat Caulfield on Saturday 13 September.

Ayda Hornak, CCO of PetWell, said partnering with Habitat allows them to show pet parents just how simple and beneficial it can be.

“Education is at the heart of what we do. Raw feeding can feel overwhelming, but when you break it down, it’s about giving pets the same quality of nutrition we’d expect for ourselves.”

Kim Alexander, General Manager of Merchandise at Habitat, said: “Habitat and PetWell share the same vision, giving pets fresher, healthier food and empowering pet parents with the knowledge to feed better every day.”

The workshops are hands-on, with Hornak guiding attendees in creating raw bowls tailored to their pets’ needs. Participants also leave with sample bowls and tips to use at home.

Habitat specialises in fresh proteins and raw feeding essentials, while PetWell offers natural toppers, treats and supplements developed by an animal naturopath and reviewed by a vet.
