Bell & Bone has announced owner and Head Vet of Bondi Vet Hospital Dr Kate Adams as its brand ambassador.

Dr Adams, who has starred on TV show Bondi Vet, will represent the healthy dog treat brand at events over the next 12 months, including the upcoming Million Paws Walk which fights against animal cruelty.

Dr Adams said she loves that Bell & Bone, a small, female-founded company, is taking on the giants and innovating better than anyone around the world.

“As a veterinarian with a passion for nutrition, I couldn’t be prouder to be behind Bell & Bone. What I love about the brand is that it is an all-Australian product, combining superfoods and anti-inflammatory ingredients with low-allergen proteins which help keep pets’ mouths clean and teeth healthier. It’s unlike anything that anyone else has done.”

Bell & Bone was founded by Melbourne local Arianne Sackville, who grew frustrated with the lack of regulation in the pet food industry and developed Bell & Bone’s range in conjunction with industry experts, combining high quality, uncompromised, natural superfoods with clinically tested ingredients.

Sackville is happy to have Dr Adams on board and hopes that her recognition of the brand and its products will help more dog owners make healthier decisions for their pet.

“I’m so thrilled to have Dr. Kate as a Bell & Bone ambassador; her ethos centres on preventative care through making the best choices for your pets, and that’s what Bell & Bone stands for too – natural, healthy, high-quality treats for your dog’s good health.”

Bell & Bone’s current range includes dental sticks known to address the growing issue of poor dental health and periodontal disease affecting 80 per cent of dogs by age three, collagen sticks which aim to assist with joint issues affecting 60 percent of dogs by age seven, and a range of training and rewards treats, a set of bite-size, freeze-dried treats for puppies and small dogs.

The company also has an ongoing partnership with RSPCA Victoria in which 10 cents from each pack sold is donated to the charity.
